Gitlab uses invisible images in almost all of its sites, at the very least after logging in (registration is free). This filter blocks them with no loss of content or responsitivity:
I don't see this transparent gif please provide a link where you can reproduce it or a screenshot showing you adblockers logger.

I'm sorry, I reported from the top of my head and remembered some details wrong.
I can detect these images after clicking on the Login link (upper right corner of the main page), just before entering my credentials. Screenshots:
