Don't work, here is my logger image:

Tried blocking
xmlhttprequest
on the website, still got the ad in the sidebar. @

In the network requests tab I see the initiator for the ads as a blob:
. But the filter by intense isn't blocking it.

I see the ad only if whitelist

so, adding then
forum.xda-developers.com##.leaderboard > div:nth-of-type(2)
gets rid of the ad

The filter blocks other things as well such as the "
