Facebook on sites as a statistic tool

Post by Guest »

Many webmasters are putting Facebook stuff inside their site.
Can they use it as a statistic tool or as a visits counter?
I mean get the amount of visitors (on their site) by looking at the Facebook account?

(I'm not suggesting to add this to EasyPrivacy.)

I certainly hope that websites are unable to track visits through the use of Facebook modules; however, as those using the service must be aware of the implications for their personal data, the domain is not blocked by EasyPrivacy.
