Both Adblock Plus and uBlock Origin have an issue with the Easylist also blocking the Disqus comment section in posts on this site. (I tested them separately.)

uBlock Origin will bring back display of the Disqus comments if the option is selected to disable cosmetic filtering, so it appears likely this is a coding issue with the site.
I experienced this in in chrome 117.0.5938.134 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Windows 11 Home version 22H2 build 22621.2283.
The active extensions were only the adblocker and Google docs offline.
It also happened on adblock browser 1.3 on android (which I believe is based on chrome), as well as Firefox 118.1.1 (Build#2015977611) with the uBlock Origin add-on. Other commenters on the site have experienced the issue with other configurations as well.
