Youtube recently added a playlist overlay to the last 30 seconds of some videos. This popup covers a large portion of the screen and cannot be closed. It even shows up when annotations are turned off.

Video I used for testing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghK2j0QobUw&t=6m21s

I found it can be removed by adding the custom filter: youtube.com##.ytp-ce-element

Using element hiding helper for some reason would not get the whole thing. I found AdBlock for chrome was able to remove it on the second tick of the slider. This is where i noticed it showed this...
Blocked element:

Code: Select all

<DIV
class="ytp-ce-element ytp-ce-p...t-quad ytp-ce-size-1280" >
After reviewing the source and what element hiding helper showed listed, i was able to narrow it down to just that first part of the line with success.

No ads here http://i.imgur.com/g0kdmCZ.png probably corrupt profile, try resetting chrome, reinstall ABP or test in chrome portable.

done, tested in ABP clean DEV and ABP stable.
both results in ads after few refreshes, looks like it's also related to GEO location.

you probably need to be logged in to view the ad, I've just checked and when I'm not logged in I can't see ad, only when I'm loging in I can see one when searching for "app":

Code: Select all

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=app

both:

Code: Select all

youtube.com###ytd-promoted-video-renderer
and:

Code: Select all

||serving-sys.com/BurstingRes
should be added.

Another Example: http://i.imgur.com/eG3vh0f.png (logged in user)

I was wrong in my first rule, it should be:

Code: Select all

youtube.com##ytd-promoted-video-renderer

I didn't do anything, probably it's GEO targeted.

Multiple complaints from users getting Video ads from serving-sys and Gimus ad servers in Israel.

I guess it's due to some filters In the "Acceptable Ads" list, which I suggest to disable it right now. If by "Gimus" you meant Gemius, I think it's a tracker only and is already blocked by EasyPrivacy.

In the first report it's present also a very suspicious third list that I can't understand what it is, and should also be removed in my opinion.

Not the AA filter list, the issue is caused by the suspisouse sub Ebates Cash Back Shopping

Code: Select all

Code: Select all

||serving-sys.com/BurstingRes$media
will do the trick, what do you think Khrin?
