Respectfully, our polls are used by television broadcasters to add voting to their shows, not as "affiliate polls." For example, in a talent show such as American Idol or a reality-competition show such as Big Brother, the home audience votes to select the winner. Our polls let the audience vote on things like the best singer or who gets kicked off the show.
Here is a live example right now:
That poll is a companion for a Philippines pop-idol competition show where the audience chooses seven competitors out of 59 to form a singing group. The Tagalog text reads:
"WHO IS THE DREAM CHASER YOU VOTED TO BE IN THE TOP 7?"
Notice that there is no advertising whatsoever within our iframe. Our poll just lists the 59 competitors.
In sports, our polls are used to vote on the game's MVP. And in news programming, our polls are used as a primary form of journalism, where reporters ask political and newsworthy questions, such as "Do you support higher taxes to fund education?"
Our polls are primary editorial content, used to gather audience opinion in interactive television shows. They are not branded advertising content (i.e., our polls are not used for questions written by advertisers, such as "What is your favorite flavor of Doritos chips?").
Could you please reconsider our request to be removed from EasyList?
Thank you very much.
