Seems like Blocking JS content works, but it completely breaks the main website and sometimes images on articles won't load.
uBO Rule (not Custom Filter)
I'm not sure but maybe covering all pre-domain site sections (politica.estadao, saude.estadao, etc...) and making an exception for the main domain would work. But I think that's only a half kind of solution.
They also show a different "To continue reading, register" banner after a few article reads, and although it can be blocked with:
They block scrolling on the page whenever this banner appears. (again JS)
