Adblock Plus - Failed, download failure.

Hello there i have been using custom script http://*-edge-chat.facebook.com to block my chat, but since a week ago i face a problem. Its not working i tried everything reinstall the extension, make changes, but none of them seems to work. I get an error in the ABP extension Failed, download failure. I even try with the other one Adblock not Adblock Plus and the error from there is Invalid list URL. It'll be deleted. I try with 3 different browsers Google Chrome, Opera, Firefox and Nighty and still gave me the same errors, even in the Nighty says invalid url and cannot be added. What can we do about it, to make it work again ?

I have a custom filter list loaded from http:// and i have never been facing to a download failure !!

maybe the site where's your list automatically converts your address to https

I had a similar list and was discarded by ABP => I converted it in https and all fine now

I have both of them http and https and the error is the same... The script is not working since 2 or 3 weeks it used to work for years... How can we fix it ?

Maybe you want to add a filter and not a filter list ?

I found a solution on adblockplus.org, because i started a topic there and there was some other user, facing the same problem. He came with a solution to change the script to this one:

Yes i added it as a filter list, because it stop working and i was trying everything. Change the http to https, add it to filter list and none of them seems to work, until this guy came up with a solution.

Remove those fake lists then read above what to do.

I remove everything and try to add filter in CREATE AND EDIT YOUR FILTER LIST by copying http://*-edge-chat.facebook.com. But this script is not working anymore i think. I tried then the 3 that webmax gave me and it works. If someone is facing this problem with http://*-edge-chat.facebook.com just remove it and change it with this three.
