Hulp wordt heel erg gewaardeerd (vrolijke vrouw -> vrolijke man).

Hi,
I suggest you to use a capture data app to capture your network traffic then analyze the packet capture data file to find which host is the source of the advertising.

apps example
- tPacketCapture https://tpacketcapture.en.uptodown.com/android
- SSL Packet Capture https://packet-capture.en.uptodown.com/android

If it's difficult, you can seek assistance on DNS66 repo https://github.com/julian-klode/dns66/issues

PS: As an alternative you can try using "DNS AdGuard" https://adguard.com/adguard-dns/overview.html

I tried SSL Packet Capture and got these domains.
Does anyone know which domain(s) are the culprits?

What kind of ads are you seeing in the app? (Post screenshots).
What hosts file are you using?
Did you test DNS AdGuard?

RTL-XL is an application that allows you to watch television on demand.
Previously, my wife had no ads at the start and during the videos/programs she watched. The ads are like Youtube ads... you see a video commercials for maybe a minute or so and then your video/program starts. Also, during the program you get commercial breaks.

The hosts file in my router is based on these sources:
http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.txt
http://www.hostsfile.org/Downloads/hosts.txt
http://pgl.yoyo.org/adservers/serverlis ... ip=0.0.0.0
http://www.malwaredomainlist.com/hostslist/hosts.txt
https://zerodot1.gitlab.io/CoinBlockerLists/hosts
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/AdAwa ... /hosts.txt

Unfortunately, I don't know how to convert the Dutch Easy List to a hosts file compatible format. That may actually solve my problem too.
I was hoping that by coming here to the Dutch forum I would find someone who would know which domain(s) need to be blocked.

I would recommend you to seek assistance on AdGuard Forum

PS: also, test using this hosts file http://hosts.surge.sh/hosts.txt
