In the past week or two I've noticed while visiting belloflostsouls.net that articles would show comment counts but upon opening the articles the comment sections would not load. After verifying with other users that they were still seeing comments I recently contacted Adblock to troubleshoot the issue as it was only affecting my Chrome browser with Adblock installed. While troubleshooting they had me unsubscribe from each filter one at a time to establish if any singular filter was creating the issue. There was no effect on the issue with any other filter than Easylist which when disabled allowed the comments to load, along with a number of ads on the page. This post is being made as per the instructions within their troubleshooting guide to report the issue.

When Easylist is enabled, the comments section does not load. When disabled the comments section will load.

Browser: Chrome Version 66.0.3359.181 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Adblock version: 3.29.3

Disqus comments load fine here, tested Adblock Plus, AdBlock and uBo.

You could test in a clean profile.

Removed Adblock extention and all related files from Chrome. Reinstalled Adblock Extention with basic settings. Comments section still does not load.

Test in a portable version of Google Chrome with ONLY Adblock Plus installed.

As instructed installed portable version of Google Chrome with only Adblock Plus. Issue persists.

Huh, atleast the comment section loads while looking at the blocked list, though not when it is closed.

[mention]smed79[/mention] The comments load fine for me with EasyList enabled in Chrome.

Per Rhana followed Chrome troubleshooting guide, prior to reinstalling Chrome as instructed by the last step in the guide I ran CCleaner as well as manually removed all remaining registry files associated with Chrome. Did not re-sync Chrome after the reinstall and comments continued not to load.

Per Rhana instaledl Firefox, then AdBlock for Firefox, making all AdBlock settings the same as they are in Chrome. Comments continued not to load. Additionally disabled all filters and tried them each one at a time. Comments will not load when Easylist and Easylist Lite are enabled. Comments will load with any other filter on its own or in any combination that does not include Easylist or Easylist Lite when using Firefox with Adblock.
