Hi all,
I went to the ABP forum (see thread https://adblockplus.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=54929) to see if the problem was with ABP itself but it seem to be within EasyList.
My setup: FF 57.0.4 (64-bit), ABP 3.0.2, all filters updated (including EasyList)
The problem is any new tab coming from a Google result is closed by EasyList. To reproduce:
0 - Make any search with Google, open any link in a new tab
1 - New tab is closed as soon as it opens when EasyList is activated. FF works as expected when EasyList is deactivated.

Hi,
i am unable to reproduce your issue.

Hi smed79,
I'm on Firefox Quantum, unfortunately, I have no more add-on bar where in previous versions of FF, I could launch the blockable item list. How can I list blmockable items now in FF 57.0.4?

Thanks, intense. However, when I select a clickable link in the pick an element pane, the selection gets lost on the ABP pane. I don't know how to check which filter closes the new tab.
Can you see any red row (with the triggered filter) in that panel ? Post them here (the filters)
Did you check your custom filters ?

I have no custom filters (My filter list is empty).
Here are the red filters after a search on "lollipop" in Google:
That's all.

Try disabling all other addons in FF and repeat the test.
If even after this test does not work add this filter:

Disabling the Don't track me Google user script also restores expected behavior. For the time being I'm going to disable it but the problem seems to be the interaction of Easylist and that user script. Thanks!
