Thanks, Lanik.

Ofcourse, no browser is made specifically for YOU, the user. Also that reddit thread is filled with lots of tin foiled hat theories which I won't bother myself to engage further. You will still be using some Google services which can be disabled like you do in Chrome, but there's no automated data collection and transfer happening and everything is manual, so you have lot more control comparatively.
So does Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge .... should I go on?

If you truly want Google free Chromium then feel free to try https://github.com/Eloston/ungoogled-chromium
I know, all of them. And once on internet you'll use a lot of services and you'll be traced, so, ... I'm ok using chrome and even the various google - evil -services
I figured you know them. Like you said the difference here is "what are you okay with" or basic personal preference.
I'm okay with running Chrome or using Google since I'm not doing anything illegal .... well semi-illegal ... okay I should stop now ... "Hi Uncle Sam"

Ultimately if you want the browser to work 100% as you want, then you will have to cook up your own otherwise setup how much you're willing to let loose.
