We have ||google.*/gen_204?$~xmlhttprequest in EasyPrivacy. xmlhttprequest needed to be excluded as it caused issues on https://quality.mozilla.org/2011/08/fir ... pt-7-2011/.

I do not see any xmlhttprequests there. Could you add this filter "||google.*/gen_204?" to your custom rules and tell me if you encounter any problems on link above and maps.google.com?
