It's blocked via Dan Pollock's Host FIle. Add and activate that filter.

If it's malware the adblocker does not help. The system has to be cleaned.
Don't add other lists.

Popups and new tabs are nothing new. I don't have malware but adexc and others caused lots of pop ups untill I subscribed to malware host lists file and it stopped popping up or creating new tabs. I was fortunate that my computer wasn't infected, as I didn't install any executable file, so that did the job.

well, "probably", "if it's malware", so the user has to check first his system, after that he could add some other custom filter or directly a new list.
