opensubtitles.org
Currently on opensubtitles.org
I've set the page language to English though I am from Romania. There's 4 ads, however and they're all in romanian, all from AliExpress
Underneath them I can see "server using Rev Defender" though I don't know what that means.
That's all I've got for you. Never had a problem with AD blocker before that I can remember.

Hi, Rhana from AdBlock here. We have a user who's seeing the same AliExpress "Served by Rev Defender" ads, even with both sets of filters in use.
Here's the screenshot he provided: http://i.imgur.com/G1xearC.jpg
These are the filters he's using.
The following filters remove the Rev Defender ads:
The following filters remove the Carambola ad that may remain after the Rev Defender ads are removed:

anyway, try these filters
if does not work:
- remove all other custom filter for opensubtitles

They are smart , opensubtitles.org is always finding new ways to bypass adblock now they use the script ajax.cloudflare to load ads into the web site, and of course the adblock can't block them, they can pass trough adblock, so as i wanted to help you guys and the team of anti-adblock-kiler i decided to reveal their new way
i guess is this code that is doing that
i've tried to bypass this using adblock to block the script but i can't the only way that i've found to block this preventing the ads appearing is using the extension scriptsafe that blocks that script
like this
and i wanted to help in some way, to block this using adblock filters, so if you can help please, add here the code
Code: Select all

Why don't you have this code added to the filter list? As I do see ads on opensubtitles.org, but after adding them manually, I didn't see ads. So please can you add it to the filterlist?intense wrote:try these filtersif does not work:Code: Select all

It's up to the easylist authors to decide if / how / when ... such filters will be added to easylist.

A lot of blank ad fields, blank spaces and ads on individual subtitle listings.
The list:
1) "Hide ads" field 2) VPN ad 3) Ad field 4) Blank space at the end of the page 5) Text ad at the top

Ads on the search page:
1) Text ad "Download at 25 MBit" 2) Same as the 3rd one above

what space are you talking about ? indicate it on pic
Code: Select all

(for you) it's an effect of the above filters ? if no, what filter lists are you using ? it works fine for meApplet search button does not work on any page.

Applet search wasn't working before too, so no not a result of the above filters. I was using the default uBlock filters but after your question, I used Custom Filters and EasyList only & still Applet search doesn't work for me.
I guess that space cannot be removed. I cannot reproduce the search issue. Try disabling all other extensions.
The Applet search button works with ABP & Adblock but not uBO even with all other extensions disabled. Works when uBO disabled on website.intense wrote:I guess that space cannot be removed. I cannot reproduce the search issue. Try disabling all other extensions.
What happens when you click on the button does it go down with each click?
I guess it can be removed as there is leftover iframe in the left corner of the homepage and other pages.intense wrote:I guess that space cannot be removed.

Hey intense, how would we block "Download Subtitles Searcher" beside 1 as in this image:intense wrote:intense

Note: At first I thought it wasn't ad but it is an internal ad, it promotes another product, it hinders usage (annoyance).
