You're right. My list was last updated on May 6, and I guess this got fixed sometime after that. Updating the lists fixed it.

Hi, Rhana from AdBlock here. I confirm, I am still seeing these ads in Chrome with AdBlock and ABP, "Trending Now" vertically along the right side of the page. It takes about 10-15 seconds for them to appear after the page loads. According to the status bar, they are Outbrain ads. Note, I do not see them in Firefox with ABP.

I got redirected here from my other post: viewtopic.php?p=94011#p94000

Finally realized I had to add that code that intense posted above to get rid of the ads on http://dailycaller.com. Are these ads supposed to be "acceptable ads" then since you have to manually block them? Personally I think they are really bad clickbait ads, but I guess someone else decides what an acceptable ad huh.

Thanks intense for at least posting a manual code that makes it go away.

No, they're not acceptable ads. Yavli ads are known for continually bypassing ABP, so sometimes it takes longer to re-block them.

Hi, Rhana from AdBlock here. I confirm seeing the ads after forcing a list update and with the filters suggested in an earlier post

Code: Select all

Acceptable Ads list is off.

Looks like you'll need to add /stolzite to that list of directories.

Ads are back on thefreethoughtproject.com. "Trending Now" ads in the right sidebar. Also "From Around the Web" in a pop-up, depending on which of the filters suggested in this post I use. AdBlock 3.2.0 (same results with ABP). The only thing that completely blocks these ads is Tampermonkey + It's Not Important.
