As titled, the ##.ad_spot filter is blocking the right sidebar stories column on Huff Post. eg http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2015/01 ... 30512.html?
Filter disabled, sidebar stories show. Filter enabled, whole sidebar is blank.
##.ad_spot blocks Huff Post sidebar
Seems to be a native advert, would really be a good idea to let this through?
Did you look right down the sidebar? There's a native ad/sponsored article at the top (the "Presented by Fox", I assume that's what you mean), but below that is a whole column of other Huff Post articles, that filter wipes out the entire column. If the "Presented by..." box can't be blocked without blocking the whole column I would suggest it be left alone, otherwise you're breaking website functionality.fanboy wrote:Seems to be a native advert, would really be a good idea to let this through?

Is sponsored by Fox (not really an article), so Its a native advert on the right. I'd be happy to remove/whitelist the filter if it wasn't the fact if it wasnt for the native advertising. If you can give me another example without native advertising links, I'll gladly review it.

You want more examples? It's wiping out the sidebar on every HP article. I'll post the first five links on the page but all you gotta do is click some links from the page I linked to:

I'm not saying you should allow that native ad, I'm saying you shouldn't be blocking every single NON ad story underneath it. I don't see how it's a problem. I can easily block that sponsored element using Element Hiding Helper WITHOUT blocking the whole sidebar, so why can't the Easylist subscription?

Screenshot me the "Non ad story", because all I see the Native advert on the right.I'm not saying you should allow that native ad, I'm saying you shouldn't be blocking every single NON ad story underneath it.
Here ya go, there are around ten articles linked to below that sponsored ad on every HP page:
