Korean UCC sites

Post by Stupid Head »

I've recently updated Corset to fix some issues with UCC (User-created content AKA Korean YouTube clones) sites. Among the filter updates, I've had to add the following.

Code: Select all

The sites that I've encountered all serve their videos as streaming Flash from their ad subdomains. So I've whitelisted a couple of EasyList filters that were blocking the videos. Are there any negative implications by whitelisting those two filters of the "other" variety that you can think of?
What, me worry?

I don't know, Stu Those don't seem to affect ads on Yahoo Maps. Do you think that I should add:

Code: Select all

$~other
... to the regular filters instead of having you whitelist them? Would that work or is would there still be something else blocking them?

Is there a link that you can give me to see? There may be a way to create a more 'targeted' whitelist just for those.
