Blocking Yahoo Mail (new version) ads [refer]

Post by caliwildman »

Is it possible to ad some filters to block the new version of Yahoo mail? The ones I am referring to are on the left hand side behind and under the folders. Thanks for the good work so far.

There are 3 element-hides for there:

Code: Select all

yahoo.com#div(LREC)
yahoo.com#*(nwPane)
yahoo.com#*(swPane)
Does this fix it? These are already in the EasyElement (not EasyList) subscription.

You are correct, I actually installed EasyElement after I posted and it did get rid of them. Another quick question, is there a way to reclaim the space to the right of the mail pane currently dedicated to ads? The ads aren't showing now but it is a just a waste of white space there. Thanks for your help.

Thank you, the link to the greasemonkey script did the trick.
