I use Easylist USA with AdBlockPlus 0.7.1.2.

It seems to block the main central news photo (actually, it rotates among a few photos) on http://www.nytimes.com. This just started happening. When I view the page in IE (or an IE tab), the photo is there. The url of one particular photo is http://graphics10.nytimes.com/images/20 ... e.3371.jpg. Doesn't seem like any Easylist filters would catch it. I have not added any filters.

The image link that you sent me is not in their database ... could that be the problem?

I don't know what section you are talking about. Are the photos that you are talking about on the main page or somewhere else? I don't see any photo gallery there either with or without Adblock Plus enabled.

If you can give me a link to the page where this is, I can take a look.

I'm also experiencing the same issue. The filter rule that seems to be the culprit is the "&partner" rule.

Here's another link to a blocked object:

Remove wide URL from quoted box.
What is blocked on that page? I see all the pictures at the bottom and the one of the Pres. Also I see that rule blocking NOTHING on that page for me. Everything seems fine. Maybe a before and after screenshot? pointing out what's wanted that's block? Just trying to help, I have not doubt your problem is real for you.

I have removed:

Code: Select all

#*(adbar)
from the element list, and

Code: Select all

&partner
from the easylist

When I run across those somewhere else, I will attempt to adjust the blocks to not cause a problem. Wish I could have seen the fp's from *&partner*.

Could this be something just caused by "check banner links" again?

Just wanted to let you know that the issue is resolved with the list version I pulled in at 11:31 EST on 10/30/2006.

Thanks for the great support!
