AT&T's email is run my yahoo... they have changed the look of their email and now
this filter is not working... It appears to still be in place ... do I need to delete it and re-enter it or
is there another filter I can try to remove this darn video previews from my email when the folder
is empty.. they are frustrating... I pay for my email service with my internet package... I should
not have to deal with ads...
is there a filter that I can put in place to remove these videos from my email when a folder
is empty??
I see nothing on this page to submit the problem...
am going to try to add the filter that was in the Viewtopic above and see if that will help get rid of these darn videos
they set them up to auto play .. very frustrating
I set up the filter list from the above viewtopic and does not work.. these videos in my empty email folder continue to play...
we need a solution to remove these vidoes from our email when we empty a folder... Obviously our internet carrier doesn't
care and forces these upon us in our email mailboxes ... complaining to them seems to fall on deaf ears..
our email is through AT&T which is powered by yahoo mail
I use Webmail Ad Blocker which is available for Chrome and Firefox. I've tried blocking it with an adblocker but since the sidebar is dynamic it's mostly a cat and mouse game. The extension works great 100% of the time for me.
Late autumn this year(i guess after September) Yahoo introduced a new very persistent type of popup advert on the MAIL box page.
I cannot block it because it vanishes when i click to block on it,
I cannot directly report it because also the advert is gone when the report screenshot becomes active...
so i made a normal print screen to catch the culprit and show it to you ;)
I use Windows 7, SP1, 64 Bit, Firefox 70.00 https://imgur.com/a/kiqQevV
When you first open and refresh the inbox from Yahoo Mail it takes 2-5 seconds to appear one of these timed news/feeds.
Have you used last Firefox version on Windows 7 64 for test?
