italiashare.info

Post by SergeGardien »

I'm trying to filter all the garbage from this site in particular I've disabled the javascripts (with NoScript) on this site but I have to fix some stuffs to make it work. I've also disabled uBlock Origin site-wide and applied only a manual filter (explained at point (1)) to avoid the classic "Turn Off AdBlock/uBlock Origin" kind of banners.

1) To eliminate the "Please enable javascript" widescreen block I've added the following filter to uBlock Origin but it works randomly (sometimes it filters the widescreen block, some other times it doesn't):

Code: Select all

! 8/10/2017, 4:10:26 PM http://www.italiashare.info/
www.italiashare.info###ic68
Any idea why it doesn't always work?
How can I get rid of this widescreen block once and for all?

2) Every item page has a "Mostra / Nascondi testo" (Show / Hide text) which is a simple button with javascript which shows a link once you click on it.
Given that I disabled the javascripts on all the site, whenever I click on it nothing happens. Is there a way to force the page to simply show such link without any need to click on it?

Example:

Code: Select all

http://www.italiashare.info/e-books/riviste-italiane/626662-marco-polo-sicilia-2017.html
Button Code:

Code: Select all

javascript:ShowOrHide('sp8f8cb0a9ce255d8a180b1b4611b0f90d')
Image (Before Clicking the Button):

Don't disable js on the site, add these filters:

Code: Select all

@@||italiashare.info/ads/*$image,domain=italiashare.info
@@||italiashare.info^$generichide
Report back what other issues are still with that page.

Many thanks for the reply intense.

I've re-enabled the js and added your filters to UBO but now I get the "normal" behavior of such site with js enabled (the filter doesn't seem doing anything), i.e., I still need to click the "Mostra / Nascondi testo".

If I click on it the webpage is redirected to a page with gibberish, meanwhile the page with the js button doesn't do anything, it is simply re-opened in another tab with the link still hidden.

Gibberish page:

You have to click that button.

If I click "download easybytez" link will go to ally.sh link and then to easybytez. I get no strange behaviour.

Are you using only uBo or some other blocking extension ?

Yes, I'm using AdsBypasser (greasemonkey script) but it is activated after I click on the easybytez link

Code: Select all

https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/4881-adsbypasser
Still, I agree with you, I shouldn't have that gibberish page.

Try testing using only uBo + filters above, disable all other extensions.

I've found the issue. I've forgotten I've disabled the javascripts from

Code: Select all

adnetworkperformance.com
which are used by that site.

Now I don't have anymore that gibberish page.

Still, I think I could surf that website and get its content by disabling completely the various ads javascripts. I think its more secure that simply filtering the ads. But I guess I would need to ask the NoScript guys.

What do you think?

Simply disabling js on a page you're breaking the functionalities.
However, in uBo, there are ublock filters for that site, so it should be ok (just be sure you are enabling "ublock filters" list)

Mhmhm, if I enable uBo too (with the "ublock filters" list) I get this:

Not sure what breaks it down.

Yes, I know, but for that site js doesn't do much. It's mainly used for ads stuffs.

- Update uBo lists
- add also the filters above
- remove / disable all other personal filters for that site
- disable all other extension.

Test again.

I've cleaned the lists' cache + re-updated them and now seems working.

Thanks again :)

Sorry, the problem was Nanodefender 13.22, as I turned it off it's back to work.

Thanks :-)

The fact is that they keep changing the address (first italiashare.info, then .life, now .net) and everytime they change the address the ADBBlock returns.

By the way this time i added this to my filters and it works:

Code: Select all

italiashare.net###adblockplus
