The content blocked with https://github.com/easylist/easylist/co ... e0760f340a is too generic and is affecting every HubSpot user.
Would it be possible to block content only from that user? (`cta/default/189007`)
This issue is similar to what happened on the French list and was discussed here: viewtopic.php?f=91&t=39290&p=129157

Hi smed79, MonztA, wondering if you might be able to help us set correct expectations with our customers on this. This impact of this change is far more wide spread and damaging than the previous update to the French list. Any info you can provide is helpful. Thank you

smed79, this is still the case, and something we're actively working on, but given that there are millions of these buttons out on the net, that customers have created over the past 8+ years, I'm sure you can appreciate that it is a slow process to audit and ensure that all usage of the tool is within reason. In addition to that, the example provided in the commit that introduced this issue (0d9c42b7ab) doesn't appear to have any usage of the tool that would be deemed an advertisement. If you can provide guidelines for what you deem an advertisement, that would definitely help use with the above audit, but in the meantime while we work on this investigation we'd appreciate if the other 99+% of customers are not impacted.
Just wait an EasyList author see the thread and decide what to do.
I am administrator of epiuselabs.com, running on Hubspot. All of our call-to-action buttons are removed by EasyList, disabling much of the functionality on our site. We do not use CTAs as ads and cannot understand why all CTAs have been disabled in this list. This is far too broad and penalizes the majority of Hubspot users that use CTAs legitmately.
Please urgently remove Hubspot CTAs from the list to restore functionality to our (and likely millions of other) Hubspot sites. Please discuss correct specifications with Hubspot to determine what a CTA-based ad would look like (possibly an image based ad that links to an external site).

intense thanks, reported on GitHub here https://github.com/easylist/easylist/issues/817
This is currently affecting over 100 websites we manage right now. Navigation elements, buttons and content are not showing, page elements are being broken. This is majorly affecting many businesses. Please help.
Add your comments on the github issue (see above)
Which of these filters are breaking your sites ?

temporarily fixed for uBo (ublock origin)

one of you could test the fix ? (update your lists in uBo, especially the unbreak list)
(wait 5-10 minutes if still broken and update again)

intense I can see HubSpot CTA with uBo, thanks a lot for your help.
If you want reporting your sites, do it only here:
https://github.com/easylist/easylist/issues/817
and you could recommend your users to use ublock origin (where the issue is fixed).

Relevant to this thread, working with the customer referenced in the original commit that caused this issue, we have been able to remove the offending CTA, it has been completely deleted. Is there any information you can provide before the weekend so that we can set reasonable expectations with our customers around a resolution to this issue?
HubSpotShay as I said report directly on github
fixed in easylist too
