Hi, Rhana from AdBlock here. I followed the pointer in the March 20, 2016, post to get here. The filters suggested aren't working for me in Chrome 49-and-change. Additional advice appreciated. :)

Tweaktown pages are now getting ads through AdBlock. This is on a PC with Chrome and AdBlock with the latest filters:

Code: Select all

No ads here (chrome / firefox + ABP + easylist + easyprivacy), disable the other extensions and test again.

Being investigated. Not an easy fix. Disable "tweaktown.com##iframe[title="3rd party ad content"]", but will allow ads. Filter/Element suggestions are welcome.

I'm still seeing ads with those filters in Chrome, in AdBlock 3.1.1 and in ABP 1.12.2. Acceptable Ads disabled, all filter lists up to date. I recently reset Chrome's settings to defaults.

AdBlock, with @intense's filters:

AdBlock, without those filters:

well, for AB / ABP I can't see a fix (for chrome) now only using the adblocker.

So, use tampermonkey + reek (aak) userscript, and add this filter in AB

Code: Select all

||xyz.tweaktown.com^$script

Argh. When I try to test this, I'm getting the anti-adblocking wall again:

Code: Select all

http://www.tweaktown.com/sp/index.html
I have enabled the Adblock Warning Removal list, AakList, and TamperMonkey+Anti-Adblock Killer user script+filter "@@||tweaktown.com$generichide." What am I missing?

That's the page I get when I _try_ any other page. :) To be more accurate, I can get to other pages on the site. But if I wait 3-4 seconds, that anti-adblock page loads instead.

Let's see... Here's the debug info from AdBlock. Does anything in there strike you as problematic?

Are you sure the aak userscript is enabled in tampermonkey ?
You can also remove ublock 0.9.5 (an ancestor of ubo)

Well, everything is working fine on one of my Chrome profiles, the one I use for personal stuff. Of course it's the profile I use for AdBlock that's being stubborn. I'll bet this is a profile issue now. As always, thanks for the help, guys!
