Website mention is needed where $generichide / $elemhide are used (thanks intense). I am unable to create a useful filter for this on news18.com, can someone help with this site.
element picker for ubo (but not always ...). Me too I'm using chrome but I keep firefox + ABP + EHH (advanced mode; right click on the element you want to hide, then see the div / class you want to hide, eventually on the superior level, you can even edit the filter keeping the fix part of it, then press the ABP button in that inspect window) for such issues.

EHH seems good maybe the ABP guys can make it for Chrome too. Since you have both the browsers which one do you like more, I go for Chrome love the things these guys keep adding.
sram_rey I do not see any AdRecover ads on my side as they are blocked by EasyList. You might be seeing them as you may have "Allow non-intrusive advertising" (Acceptable Ads) list enabled in your adblock program which whitelists AdRecover ads
(https://adblockplus.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=47740).
Remove the list if you don't want to see further similar ads.
Note:
Your filter seems to be wrong as it is combining network and cosmetic filter's syntax.
To stop the AdRecover ads you can simply block them by ||adrecover.com^$third-party as in EasyList.
