I'm one of the developper of the news website lavenir.net.

We got some complaints that some users see many of our pages "all broken". After investigation, we realized it was because of one of our main assets folder being blocked by the French list :
Although I understand the name of the folder might be confusing and that folder or its many subfolders may also contain some ads image files (if it does, it's ads for our own services only), that folder and its subfolders is also the one we use for many many others assets (images, js, css) for a lot of pages on our website. That block is wayyy too generic as that folder contains dozens of subfolders and hundreds of files. The folder name "promobox" refers to what we call "promobox" which basically mean "zones" in our custom CMS. It's like the root folder when we want to use an external ressource with our CMS.

I totally understand and respect users that want to block ads. Which is why I'm not complaining about our other ressources being blocked. But in this case, it actually delivers a worst experience to the user.
