was added, mentioning this gamestar URL
http://www.gamestar.de/videos/specials,20/oculus-rift,86946.html as the reason.
When deactivating this whitelist filter in Firefox (with ABP and only EasyList + EasyList Germany enabled), I could not reproduce any issue with playing the video.
So please remove that filter as it seems to be outdated.
Another reason why I want this whitelist filter removed is the following, though it should be irrelevant if the whitelist filter is not needed anyway:
Whitelisting that script actually breaks loading videos in uBlock (at least in Chromium, with some of ubo's own filters that circumvent the anti-adblock mechanism), e.g. on this page
http://www.gamestar.de/spiele/watch-dogs-2/artikel/watch_dogs_2,52381,3303008.html, clicking the video preview image just makes the preview image disappear, but no video player appears.
The rule
||gamestar.de/js/gamestar/my_ad_integration.min.js^$important (i.e. disabling the whitelist filter) fixes this issue in uBlock Origin.

When you're at it, please also remove @@||gamepro.de/js/gamepro/my_ad_integration.js. That script isn't even embedded anymore, and as you can see videos on gamepro.de load fine. (They use gamepro.de/js/gamepro/my_ad_integration[b].min[/b].js now, but no reason to whitelist that.)
(I post that in this thread as gamepro.de is from the same company as gamestar.de and apparently uses the same software.)

Is this list still being maintained? I described a problem in detail and gave a simple solution.
Would it help if I did a pull request on GitHub?
Also please note that the first post in this thread as it currently appears wasn't written by me that way, but was edited by some third party and wasn't marked as such. The edits include the way links were presented (which is kind of ok, had it been marked as edited), but also changed grammar and words to misrepresent the meaning of my original sentences (e.g. mentions to uBlock Origin were removed, and in another instance "uBlock Origin" was replaced by "ubo"). They started to add price comparison with refs links all over the website which takes a lot of space. Any reason whiy this is not blocked (it becomes aggressive)?

Hallo,
gamestar.de scheint wohl Werbe-Fan zu sein. Auf jeden Fall taucht da immer mehr (auch immer aufdringlichere) Werbung auf.
Hier mal ein Screenshot:

Die aufdringliche Werbung habe ich (auf dem Screenshot nicht dabei), um normal lesen zu können, manuell entfernt. Das war eine Hörgeräte-Werbung, das könnte auch weg.

Die lässt sich normalerweise mit UblockOrigin und den dort eingebauten "Shims" eigentlich relativ gut im Zaum halten.
Die schlimmsten Teile dort waren in Vergangenheit zwielichtige Bilder über AdDefend.
Link geht leider nicht um das zu verifizieren.

still seems to be Addefend based which Ublock has countermeasures for.
Maybe they changed the script a little and UBO has to update

Gamestar scheint nachgerüstet zu haben... Gibt neue Werbung die nicht von UBlock geblockt wird. Scheint durch ein neues Script dynamisch generiert zu werden weil der kosmetische Filter nicht weiterhilft...

New wave of ads on gamestar which is not blocked by UBlock -.- Looks like dynamically generated by a new script as these are not blockable with the cosmetic filter.
