Not sure if Lanik is still visiting the forums, but I'll give it a try anyway.
As you've already noticed, if you left-click anywhere on the rectangle representing one topic (or subforum), it will directly open the said topic.
The problem is that when you want to use Ctrl+LeftClick to open the link in a new tab (what you do for example with a laptop), the link will open in both the new tab and the current tab, making the Ctrl+LeftClick feature useless on the forums.
Does anyone find this feature useful? Or does anyone else want it to be removed?
Too easily clickable topics
I don't think it's such a bad thing, but you can use the other template (subsilver2) which doesn't have this issue.
Oh, okay, that's solved my issues, thanks!Famlam wrote:you can use the other template (subsilver2) which doesn't have this issue.
Personally, I like it. I always open links in new tabs via mouse wheel-click or a click gesture via FireGestures.
The feature is indeed useful with a proper mouse, but it is less when you happen not to have a mouse with you but only a laptop touchpad.
I love FireGestures, but the add-on is also less usable with only a touchpad.
