Can't add my custom list to Opera native ad blocker

Hi,

I am trying to add my own list of rules to use in Opera's native ad blocker on a Windows 7 desktop PC. This is a small local list I created personally (not a remote subscription like EasyList). I created a local blank file called Custom List.txt in Notepad, and added my own rules such as:

||somesite1.com^
||somesite2.com^
||somesite3.com^

However, each time I try to import the file to Opera, I get this error:
Import failed: Parse error. Try again
What do I need to add to the file so that Opera can parse it currently? Do I need to add any special headers?

Many Thanks.

I found that by adding simply [Adblock Plus 2.0] as the first line of the file it parses fine. :D

Many thanks for your help.
