Comparison of Windows software firewalls

Post by The Masked Marauder »

This site was a real eye-opener:

Firewall Challenge

I was surprised by the number of firewalls that are lousy at blocking leaks. After seeing these test results, I switched to Online Armor Free.

Interesting results thanks for the link. How come you didn't choose Comodo? Just curious.

I used Comodo for a while before switching to Online Armor. It worked well, but company developed a bad case of feature-itis, and software bloat set in. They added features that I didn't need, didn't give me the option to unselect them at installation, and the resulting software ate too much RAM. Online Armor met my needs without getting overzealous.
