35.188.*.*

Post by publicuser9090 »

I recently spun up a Google Compute Engine machine and found that access to its web server was being blocked by EasyList under the rule

Code: Select all

||35.188.$document
This is a shared IP space used by Google Cloud https://ipinfo.io/AS15169/35.188.0.0/19
I'm not sure the entire range should be blocked.

Thanks!

Okay, thanks. I'll just get a new IP address for the machine.

tl;dr most users will use a domain rather than a direct IP. Many google domains are hacked to serve ad scripts.
