the link to "Subscribe to receive emails of new questions in this filter" does not show up if Fanboy Annoyances is enabled. It seems that this is due to the

This is an expected behavior if you uses Fanboy Annoyances list

That's not a newsletter or social media related, though. It's not even an annoyance. That's just breaking site functionality. It's basically not allowing one to subscribe to a forum thread.
