ensenyament.gencat.cat

Post by Marc Castells »

Google website translation on Firefox doesn't remember the option "Turn off for: Catalan". I mean, if I turn translation off, I refresh the site, translation is being offered again.
Website where I noticed the issue:

Code: Select all

http://ensenyament.gencat.cat/ca/serveis_territorials/girona/personal_docent/nomenaments-telematics/
Site original language: Catalan.
Computer default language: English.
uBlock logger lead me to find there's a static filter related to google translate.
Name of the filter:

Code: Select all

||google.*/gen204?
Location of the filter: EasyPrivacy.

Solution:
1. Disable uBlock on the site.
2. Refresh.
3. Click on the "Turn off for: Catalan".
4. Re-enable uBlock.

After that the translation popup doesn't appear anymore. Apparently uBlock doesn't allow the translator to remember the selected option. At the end the number of blocked elements decreased by 1.

I'm using uBlock Origin 1.17.0
The browser is Firefox Quantum 58.0.1
And the OS is Debian GNU/Linux 9.5

Forgive me if I'm violating any forum rules. I just created the user to post this issue 10 minutes ago.
