appears to be the filter that causes the video to go black. If it is removed, the video plays just fine.

As this is not a custom filter can the end user edit it to remove the offending entry? If so...how?

Also assuming removing that code does nothing for the issue (missing controls) on the other site.

I don't know why, because we never used Websocket ads and we do not plan to use it.
Anyway, it cause issues with our chat, since we need to ask people to desactivate adblock to be able to chat with other xvideos users.

Can you please remove xvideos.com from this rule please ?

Okay, have temp removed the filter. but if its abused (ads, tracking etc) it'll be re-added and not removed.
