WordPress Advanced Ads plugin

Post by webzunft » Mon Jul 02, 2018 9:55 am

Hi there,

the following filters currently break some pages in the WordPress backend if my Advanced Ads plugin is installed.

Code: Select all

/advanced-ads-
/advanced-ads/*
I understand the paradox that an advertiser should not use an ad blocker and I let those users know when they do. However, there is still confusion and some users don’t seem to get my warnings.

Advanced Ads separates frontend and backend logic. Anything in our basic plugin and the add-ons is either in an admin folder or called admin directly. E.g.,

Code: Select all

advanced-ads/admin/assets/js/admin.js
advanced-ads/admin/assets/css/admin.css
advanced-ads-layer/admin/assets/css/admin.css
advanced-ads/admin/assets/jquery-ui/jquery-ui.min.css
advanced-ads-pro/assets/admin.css
advanced-ads-responsive/modules/amp/admin/assets/admin.js
advanced-ads-pro/modules/cache-busting/inc/admin.js
Would it be possible to add an exception for anything either in the admin folders or starting with admin?

I can provide further details and a test environment, if needed.

Thanks
