For testing, you can use firefox portable + Adblock plus.

Reset worked like a charm on both Politico and RS.

Since FEBE (backup) no longer works in Quantum, I wasn't action to do a reset. FF backs up beautifully, except that I have to restore my ABP custom filters, which I always get from the forum.

What do you have as a custom filters?
What other addons are installed in firefox?

It'll only be blocked if you block facebook. My Anti-facebook list will stop the comments working.

Installed portable. Didn't install anything additional. Didn't sync any other accounts.
Disabled Facebook filters.
Everything else the same. EXCEPT I tried it w/disabling Fanboy, too.
Comments at Politico and Rolling Stone remain unviewable to me.

I am still dealing with the inability to view or open comments on Politico and Rolling Stone.
Disabled Facebook filter again.
Tried disabling all but EasyList.
Nothing works.

Do you want separate posts or did somebody combine them?
