In addition they, TRS mistakenly think it is Adblock doing the blocking. I use uBlock with easylist enabled so it was rather, erm, easy to find out who exactly was doing the blocking. I emailed them this information and asked they contact you guys to resolve the problem but I guess they never bothered.

That's the right course of action. Some background: viewtopic.php?p=116152#p116152

@fanboy

Can I assume with a fair bit of accuracy the reason therightscoop.com was added because of invasive ads? Or was it some other reason?

I've updated my easylist in ad blocker and the videos are still being blocked, am I missing something?

Thanks

This Worked, however I need this in the easylist filter as I'm one of the developers of the site and we're getting complaints from customers.

Well, as you can see your post is now in the Yavli filters issues thread.
It's the reason the third-party scripts on these sites were blocked.
Does profitconfidential still use Yavli crap ?

Hello,

I am using Pale Moon browser version 27.7.2 x 64 bit. I am also using uBlock Origin 1.13.8 which is the latest version for Pale Moon. When I go to www.newser.com and try to comment on a story by clicking the "Login" box the box that comes up just flashes for a split second and disappears. If I go into Firefox 52.6.0 ESR x 64 bit, the "Login" box works correctly. I am using uBlock Origin 1.15.6 which is the latest version for this version of Firefox.

When I am using Pale Moon if I uncheck the box for "Easy List" in uBlock Origin the "Login" box works correctly. Why?

Thank you for reading.

Hello,

As an update to my to my original post. I uninstalled Pale Moon and then reinstalled it along with uBlock Origin. When I did this Fox News videos would not play until I updated all of the filter lists. But before I did the update I checked for my original problem of not being able to log into Disqus via the Newser web site. Before I updated the Easy List I was able to log into Disqus. After I updated the Easy List I was no longer able to log into Disqus because my original problem came back.

Thanks,

Mac

My ABP extension is breaking all videos on conservativetribune.com. For example see:

https://conservativetribune.com/obama-made-disgraceful-move/

Please can you fix ABP to resolve this issue as I don’t like having to disable the plugin.

Tks

You didn't provide the steps to reproduce the issue(s) and eventually a test account, specific links for the steps, sites using your platform, other details etc.

Hi,

Thanks for the prompt reply.
We're having an issue with one of our partners: http://www.dailyfeed.co.uk/
Here are steps to reproduce:
1.Go to http://www.dailyfeed.co.uk/2018/02/heres-valentines-plans-tell-us-travel-habits/
2.You can see Playbuzz Personality Quiz article - http://prntscr.com/ih9ci1
3.Activate AdBlock
4.Refresh the page
5.Playbuzz Personality Quiz article is missing (blocked by ad-block) - http://prntscr.com/ih9daw

Also, we noticed the following Playbuzz URL's on easylist:
playbuzz.com/widget/$script,third-party
playbuzz.com##.pbads_after-question_wrapper
stg-data-collector.playbuzz.com

Could you check those and consider removing it as well?

Let me know if you need additional details.
Thanks,
Tal

Site: https://americasfreedomfighters.com/

All images on the site are blocked due to my ABP extension.

Appears jquery is blocked. I found this filter fixed the issue:

Code: Select all

Website totally broke after the last update, no images, weird blank rectangles all over the place, buttons aren't working, and the comment section that has been hidden last time has been lost again.

I no longer use Yavli and request that Hypable.com be removed from all Yavli filters -- including the current block of all 3rd-party scripts

Hi, Good morning.
My name is Jose Marin, and I'm part of the Boredom Therapy web team.

Boredom Therapy owns a couple of sites, which have been blocked due to Yavli's insisting ways to serve ads to ad blockers. We recently found out how Yavli was managing our sites, and how our sites are blacklisted in the adblock community.
As a result, even after we parted ways with Yavli, we are encountering new issues. Google Analytics is blocked from these pages, and therefore, we cannot roll out new services as these are blocked by default.
We have planned to roll out two products on these sites, New Relic to monitor our pages and also Hubspot for marketing.

The sites blocked are:
boredomtherapy.com
honesttopaws.com
mentalflare.com
headcramp.com
I'm not sure if these two sites are also blocked. I think not, though.
hermoments.com
eternallysunny.com
Would it be possible to help us clear the banning?

We have reached out to Yavli to do something about it, since this of course was created by them.
Rather than provide us with assistance, they are asking us to get back to them. Saying that "Getting you off the list is out of our control. If you want to monetize this growing audience we are your only option."
We told them that at the moment we do not want to monetize our inventory blocked by users, but rather get us off the blocked list.

Is there also a way to report them? this business model they do is unacceptable.

Thanks,
Jose Marin

If you look through this forum thread, just remove Yavli from the site(s), and we'll adjust the filters accordinly.

It appears

Code: Select all

https://www.infowars.com/logo/components
on their site are being accurately blocked. Possible political motivations rather then simply an ad.
