I found that using @@.last.fm/adserver/*/adroll.swf alone did not work. However, disabling the rule in my previous post does seem to work.

What about:

Code: Select all

@@.last.fm/adserver/*$object-subrequest,other
?
I'm blindly guessing here, it would be great if you could tell me what items need to be allowed. :)

When I tried the station Green Day, I found I had to allow these two URLs for the pre-roll to run and the station to play:

http://cdn.last.fm/adserver/video/adroll/19/adroll.swf
http://static.last.fm/adserver/video/FTB2.flv

So above rule works from what I see?

A couple of points:

1) Adding the exception did not seem to work (pre-roll did not load).

2) These 4 URLs are currently correctly blocked by AdBlock Plus. They do *not* need to be white listed for correct functionality:

http://cdn.last.fm/adserver/campaign/49 ... Footer.gif
http://cdn.last.fm/adserver/campaign/51 ... Footer.gif
http://cdn.last.fm/adserver/campaign/52 ... Footer.jpg
http://cdn.last.fm/adserver/campaign/53 ... Footer.gif

I've added this exception, which seems to work fine. It blocks only the two problem URLs that stop the pre-roll, but retains the other desirable ad blocking :D .

@@.last.fm/adserver/video/*

Does not work for me. I added @@/ads.php?zone=listen*&placement=PreRoll&$subdocument,domain=lastfm.de|last.fm to my list.

http://www.last.fm is still working fine for me. No pre-rolls this morning and station plays fine. :-)

Although there are no pre-rolls, I now find that I need to disable these two rules for http://www.last.fm, otherwise the station does not start:

Example URL 1: http://ad.doubleclick.net/adj/lastfm.uk ... d=14831665
Rule: |http://ad.$~object-subrequest,~other

Example URL 2: Address: http://ad.doubleclick.net/adj/lastfm.uk ... d=58193034
Rule: .doubleclick.net/adj/

After these are disabled, the station plays fine and I don't see any ads.

Do you have access to a UK proxy for testing purposes?

Had to change it to @@/ads.php?zone=*listen*&placement=PreRoll&$subdocument,domain=lastfm.de|last.fm because the address is "http://www.lastfm.de/ads.php?zone=:list ... ord=blabla" now and .eyewonder.com$third-party to .eyewonder.com$third-party,domain=~lastfm.de|~last.fm again but it works only after some refreshes. I also have @@/ad.doubleclick.net/adj/lastfm*smartclip$script.

Typo: @@/ads.php?zone=listen$subdocument,ldomain=last.fm|lastfm.de should be @@/ads.php?zone=listen$subdocument,domain=last.fm|lastfm.de

There should also be asterisks before "listen" because for me the frames look like this: "http://www.lastfm.de/ads.php?zone=:list ... ent=blabla"

But for me this this works sometimes only.

Fixed the typo.   It's hard for me anyway to see if something works always as I have to trouble with proxies.
