www.megagames.com layout problem [n/a]

Post by Hubird »

http://www.megagames.com/ has undergone a layout change and is now messed up when ABP is enabled with your 3 subscriptions enabled. Unfortunately I was unable to pinpoint a single filter causing the problem but it seems to be due to the blocking of one flash ad which they must be using as some sort of place holder.

Seems to be a frameing problem...

Code: Select all

http://ad.doubleclick.net/adj/megagames/homepage;sz=300x600;ptile=2
http://ad.doubleclick.net/adj/megagames/homepage;sz=728x90;ptile=1
The second one is causeing the links to blowout the frameing notice the line in your blockable items list it has two banners, the sz=300x600 (top ad) and sz=728x90 (tall and narrow, right side)

Poor site design, or intentional so you won't block ads

It looks like the center column is not defined in width. When the ad is removed, the center column expands to fill the space which causes the images and accompanying text to expand with it. This is not a problem ... it just doesn't look "compact" anymore. It's simply a result of removing that ad in the 3rd column.
