Code: Select all

https://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=128558&start=15
has an ad banner that will dynamically appear above or below posts which I blocked with

Code: Select all

weightweenies.starbike.com##.ww_ads_banner_wrapper.forabg
A dynamically located post by user weenie that should contain an already blocked ad (by either ublock or umatrix) can be completely removed with

Code: Select all

weightweenies.starbike.com###p
and a cookie popup at the bottom can be removed with

Code: Select all

weightweenies.starbike.com###dsgvo-consent-layer
Not sure if the brand logos at the bottom would be appropriate to remove as I think it'd be a self serving ad to starbike's own sales pages but its certainly not what I'd consider part of the forum.
Using uBlock Origin 1.18.3b2 with all default lists and Firefox 63.0.3 on FreeBSD. Thank you.

I didn't yet find ##.adsense_wrapper blocking anything on that page. Haven't been able to figure out how to find starbike.com#?#.post.has-profile:-abp-has(.postbody:-abp-has(.adsbygoogle)) on my own. but did get

Code: Select all

starbike.com#?#.post.has-profile:has(.adsbygoogle)
to work as I tried to figure it out. The equivalent with :-abp-has instead of :has does not which I presume is nested too far but not sure how to know when to divide it.
An additional occurence is on

Code: Select all

https://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=3
which with the same logic I can block with

Code: Select all

starbike.com#?#li.row.bg2:has(.adsbygoogle)
Are both of these the types of rules that cause more blocker overhead? Are these something that would not ever be be included in easylist for overhead, compatibility with certain blockers, bloat, or are there other lists that contain them?
Thanks again
