Code: Select all

https://www.timesunion.com/
  • Covered in ads along the top and right hand side of page.

  • I use Adblock version 3.32.1 in Google Chrome, which is version 68.0.3440.106.
  • I believe the list subscription is the default one (I have also just updated my filters as part of the Adblock troubleshooting).
  • I am using a computer running Windows 10 Home. Settings > System > About says it is version 1803.
  • I've tried disabling all my other extensions and the ads still persist. Ran a scan for both malware and viruses within the past week that came back completely negative.
Normally I wouldn't bother reporting this since they seem to be local ads but they are making the page take several minutes to load.

Thank you so much!

Just to clarify, does this mean I will need to remove the Adblock extension and install Ublock Origin instead, as this is an extension for the latter?

No, not necessarily (the developer made the extension works with all ad blockers)
... But If you want to have powerful advanced filters you could try uBo.

Great thank you! I downloaded it and it does indeed work with Adblock, and gets rid of the ads on the site. I may give Ublock a try later but for now this works. Thanks again!
