I am seeing the same T-mobile ads as climb74.

Using uBlock origin and easy list version: 201802031100. Behavior: They are blocked by adguard base english filters but allowed when I enable easylist.

Elements being displayed on the page are:

Code: Select all

###-hpphmf_bet_jgsbnf_\/9375\/bx-dofu\/ufdi-joevtusz_1
###-hpphmf_bet_jgsbnf_\/9375\/bx-dofu\/ufdi-joevtusz_2.
I see similar ad elements on other cnet pages.

- Upload some screenshot with those ads (use imgur.com and post here the links)

- for chrome you should use ublock extra extension (together your adblocker)

Here is a screenshot. https://i.imgur.com/ZdZXw5z.jpg

fwiw - I did a side by side log compare of the two scenarios.
It appears that the easylist rule cnet.com#@#.ad-leader-top could be the culprit.

Quick note, this particular experience was seen using Safari 11 on Mac OS 10.13. I experienced the same in Safari changing from uBlock Origin to Adblock with Easylist/EasyPrivacy. Not seeing similar behavior in Firefox or Chrome.
