To stop the popup you need to block the third party
stylesheet too.

Getting numerous ads from this site
fmovies.is
simply by clicking anywhere on the page, as well as during viewing of videos. I attempted to use the filters from
#p112365 to no avail.

Thank you so much! These filters seem to have solved the pop ups but not the picture ads on the page,

Experiencing a message asking to disable adblock. Example
Code: Select all
https://fmovies.is/film/the-defenders.pjrl9/vmkw57
Click on any other boxed link (numbers) and you're presented with the message. I've gone ahead an added fmovies.is to the previously posted filters and it does not help.

I did try that, but it worked on and off. I went ahead and applied a noeval filter after recalling something Smed told me a while back, and that solved it.

would you care to further elaborate and explain what it was that you had done so that others may apply this knowledge to stop the persistence of the adblock message.

The ability to download either the movie file as a file through browser or download manage and the ability to download the SRt/Subtitle file is gone. Disabling UBlock or AdBlock allows it to work correct on Fmovies' G2 servers which offer these two abilities.

All you need to do is go to bmovies.to and click somewhere, anywhere. It redirects to a cloudflare based site with alphanumeric domain.
I've tried the following with little resolution.
Code: Select all
bmovies.to##script:inject(noeval.js)
@@||bmovies.to^$generichide

for bmovies in uBo try:
Code: Select all
bmovies.to##script:inject(nowebrtc.js)
bmovies.to##script:inject(abort-current-inline-script.js, parseInt, tabunder)

That seems to have fixed the issue. There's a popup ribbon notice at the top of firefox but it goes away in a split second. I'll try it out for a few days and see how it goes. Thanks.

Nope. Either it works 30% of the time or gives a supposed network issue.

Tried all the filters above and changed the domain name to bmovies but there's still this picture ads. What's weird is that it doesn't show when I'm in firefox but it does on my google chrome. I'm using ubo on default on both of them and removed every filter on the "my filter" tab.
In the screenshot, ubo on google chrome blocked 15 things while only 9 on firefox. I have no idea why that is. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not seeing that on Chrome and Chromium based browsers, Jarakal. Do you happen to have uBlock Origin Extra for Chrome (by the same Raymond Hill) installed? If not, install it.

ive only just realized the domain change and was switching everything over to update my filters. but noticed when i enabled JS for the website (always blocked be default for me) that the site just displays text.
so i cant really continue further to investigate if there is any ad issues etc

I installed it, removed custom filters first then tried again but it still has the ad.

Jarakal if you use chrome, did you try only the last 2 filters above ?
You should also disable all other extension and test again (keep only uBo + uBo extra)
Provide a link / page where you see the ads

the custom filters are there to stop the redirects and popups. its why im trying to diagnose whats tied to the issue im having. which i had found it was xmlhttprequest
disabled that site displayed normally however. now im getting click redirects whenever a click is made on the site i find my filters have proven to be great in all manners but slight tweaking is needed.

Are you using ABP or uBo ?
the custom filters are there to stop the redirects and popups
And I asked you to disable them (due to some of them your page is broken). Just try it. If you use ABP disable it , use uBo + the 2 filters above.
I see now you are using uBo => remove all those filters as I said and
use only my filters.

the website did not display properly because it was due to this.
so i just inserted
and it fixed the site. tho alot of adds are getting through in displaying on the website
via element picker.

You are hiding random elements just to keep bad filters. Your choice.
