better but I still get a pop up tab in chrome (win 8.1 x64)
after clicking download link 3 times withe 3 pop up s I get the file..

anyway to improve that?

When I click "Direct download link" I get only the normal download panel with the "rar" object, no other popup (firefox / chrome + ABP)

updated all my lists now I still have to click it 3 times to get the file but the pop ups open a new tab but nothing loads in it

Are you using ABP for chrome or other adblocker ?
Delete cookies + loal storage in chrome for solidfiles:
go to chrome://settings/cookies
and search all cookies / local storage for solidfiles, then delete them

I give up.. this is a garbage file server.. I will stay away.

restart chrome, updated ABP
still nasty sites pop up when I click download

Thanks for the help... the pop up does not go away.
I did a through check for adware and malware etc using those and other apps , restarted and click download .. bam popup
