Incorect filters in uBO

Post by mikhaelkh »

Chrome Stable on Windows, uBlock Origin dev build from CWS.
Open uBO Dashboard and Logger. Click on clock icon next to EasyList and click on "Update now" to force and update.
Then logger shows many invalid filters in easylist, mostly related to -abp-properties and webrtc

-abp-properties and webrtc are not supported by uBo (only ABP / AB)

However, an equivalent for -abp-properties => matches-css

- for $webrtc => the scriptlet nowebrtc.js => example use: t-online.de##+js(nowebrtc.js)

-abp-properties support in uBO was declined due to perfomance reasons (see issues 139, 1752, 1930)
Since uBlock Origin is a compatible ad blocker as stated on homepage, shouldn't EasyList support its syntax?

Easylist was created with ABP in mind.
(uBo is able to disable the unknown / unsupported syntax, but I'm not so sure ABP can do it)
