EasyPrivacy vs Fanboy’s Tracking/Stats Blocking

I am curious why there are two different lists for the same purpose and why they can't be merged into one.

Which one is more effective and exhaustive?

Depends, they're managed differently.. ofcourse there would be some doubleups. I don't utilise many Adblock Plus dependent features as its used by Opera, Iron Chrome which cannot use Adblock Plus
