Block autoplay on YouTube
Is there any filter rule that I could use that would block autoplay on YouTube?

While not necessarily a filter, a nice firefox addon called FlashBlock will do just what you want. (I've been a user of this nice addon since the early 00's)
I don't know if that would be possible with a filter. I use YAYS which is great: https://eugenox.appspot.com/script/yays

I am using Flashblock, but it doesn't have any YouTube autoplay setting.dink wrote:While not necessarily a filter, a nice firefox addon called FlashBlock will do just what you want. (I've been a user of this nice addon since the early 00's)

You can disable it from the top right corner on yourtube. Just switch the autoplay button off!
ff addon https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/a ... y-no-more/
or
userscripts here https://greasyfork.org/fr/scripts/7893- ... e-autoplay

Having to do that every new session or after clearing cookies is annoying, that's why I want a permanent solution. I'll probably get an add-on or a userscript for it.mahmoud sayed wrote:You can disable it from the top right corner on yourtube. Just switch the autoplay button off!

Perhaps you're looking for fine grained control. Try this one:
YouTubeCenter - https://github.com/YePpHa/YouTubeCenter/wiki
In Chrome I use Tampermonkey extension - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... ldmpobfkfo
But any extension that do the same as Tampermonkey should work, in theory.
