Depends how the tracking is injected, an example or a Adblock plus report would be helpful.

I don't know how I missed this: Verizon is rewriting your HTTP requests to insert a permacookie?
Unfortunately Adblock Plus nor any extension can stop this getting more sites to use HTTPS will though. (I'm looking at you http://forums.lanik.us)If you connect via Wi-Fi, or a virtual private network, or are talking to a site via SSL, then the UIDH will not display either.
