What is worrying that Google is basically abusing this power to dictate wha...

Re: Google's plan to block some ads has ad-tech companies scrambling

hey are just planning to create a monoply here by setting arbitrary rules No! They're not setting any rules. Unacceptable ads are being determined by a group called the Coalition for Better Ads, which includes Google, Facebook, News Corp, and The Washington Post as members. It's more of an ad-filte...

That's f*** invasive! Forcing visitor's resources downright for personal gains is unacceptable, needs to be firewalled.

Google reveals sites with ‘failing’ ads, including Forbes, LA Times

https://digiday.com/media/google-reveals-sites-failing-ads-including-forbes-la-times/ So far, Google has identified about 700 sites as warranting corrective action out of around 100,000 sites it’s reviewed so far. Re: Google Plans Ad-Blocking Feature in Popular Chrome Browser

gotitbro Oh well, we all are aware how Google loves "monetizing" everything they can find. This will rather provoke more users to install/continue using adblocking tools at their disposal.
