msn.com
AdChoices and Taboola ads are back on MSN.com in Chrome. The previous workaround, deleting msn.com cookies on exiting Chrome, is apparently no longer working. This is with the latest stable release of Chrome, all cookies deleted and the cache cleared, in AdBlock, ABP, and the dev version of ABP (eac...

Thanks, smed79. It's only for uBO, unfortunately. I'm kinda hoping to find something that works with, you know, AdBlock.

Reek's AakList no longer maintained?
Hi! A user on Twitter is claiming that Reek's Anti-Adblock Killer list (and presumably the userscript, too) are no longer being maintained. He points to these issues on the AakList GitHub repo as evidence: https://github.com/reek/anti-adblock-killer/issues/3145 https://github.com/reek/anti-adblock-k...

what is https://cdn.adblockcdn.com/filters/adblock_custom.txt ? AdBlock Custom is our own filter list. It's pretty small. It includes filters to fix a few overly aggressive EasyList filters, fixes for some bugs and sites that don't play nicely with AdBlock, filters to not break navigation on Flickr...

All better now. It was unrelated to ad blockers, EasyList, or possibly even the HTML5 player. It was a server-side issue, according to the Customer Experience Product Lead at Twitch.

We're seeing LOTS of reports on Twitter that Twitch.tv is showing just a black screen or streams aren't loading and that disabling adblock (whichever one they're using) fixes the issue. This started happening just the other day. I'm on Twitter now, and the tweets are just pouring in. One user DM'd u...

Re: Facebook.com Sponsored ads posts
Apparently Facebook is rolling out its new mid-roll video ads in stages. Not everyone is getting them yet. From The Motley Fool: https://www.fool.com/investing/2017/02/13/get-ready-because-facebook-has-a-new-annoying-ad-f.aspx Facebook is being cautious with mid-roll ads, rolling them out to a small...

Re: walla.co.il
Hey guys. What should I tell our users who report unblocked ads on walla.co.il? This discussion seems to indicate they can't be blocked by EasyList or the Hebrew list until the list maintainers fix that exception rule exploit. Is there a custom filter or filters that will get around this?

These are great suggestions, thanks, guys! Specifics: @Lanik: 1. What's the difference between EasyPrivacy and Disconnect's Basic tracking list? 2. What exactly is Spam404? Please let me know if this isn't the right place to post this or if it violates a forum rule. (I checked and it doesn't seem to.) We're thinking about making it easier for our users to subscribe to additional filter lists. Right now they have to go find other filter lists and subscribe by their URLs...
